TIMESTAMPS
WHAT ARE TIMESTAMPS?
Chronological Validation of Documents

WHAT ARE TIMESTAMPS FOR?
Timestamps certify the date and time of creation, sending or receipt of a document or electronic transaction by your organisation, and this chronological validation is a legal requirement in the field of Public Procurement.
Timestamps allow for chronological validation:
Certify the existence of a document linked to a specific time (date and time);
Prove that a document has not been modified;
Guarantee transparency and security in public procurement;
Guarantee that bids are opened on time.
According to Order 10563/2014 of 14 August 2014, GTS timestamps are interoperable and valid on all electronic public procurement platforms.
How do Timestamps work?

1.
The customer submits a timestamp purchase order;
2.
The customer pays for the purchase;
3.
A unique ID is generated for the purchase made;
4.
The customer uses the link provided by the platform, which includes the unique ID, to use their timestamps.
